Surrey Homeware's House / Office Number Plate Generator creates an address plate for a front door, gate or office. You enter your number and address text in MakerWorld's customizer and choose one of six plate styles.
The design uses a single colour change between the plate and the raised text, so it works with an AMS or with one manual filament swap on any printer. The designer suggests matching colours to the building and notes that marble-effect filaments give a stone-like finish without extra work, while ironing smooths the top surface on plain filaments.
With over 2,800 likes and more than 26,000 customisations it is one of the better-known sign generators on MakerWorld. For a plate that lives outdoors, print it in a weather-resistant material such as PETG rather than standard PLA, and check that the text size can be read from the street.
