About this generator

IKEA SKADIS Add-Ons: Parametric Bins and Shelves is a free MakerWorld customizer that makes storage bins and small shelves with built-in hooks for an IKEA SKADIS pegboard. You enter the width, height and depth, and the hooks on the back are placed for you to match the board's 40 mm hole spacing, so there is no need to work out peg positions yourself. It is published by the MakerWorld account Kino and runs on the Parametric Model Maker.

Other settings cover wall thickness, corner radius, a flat or rounded base and how much of the front is cut away so you can reach in more easily. Wide, shallow sizes work as shelves or trays, and taller ones as open bins for tools, cables or craft supplies. Compartments are not a form field: you change two short lists of numbers in the script, and several commenters say they could not get more than two sections. The hooks sit in a single row, and the author recommends printing them at 100% infill with tree supports.

It is free with a MakerWorld account and has been customized more than 130,000 times since it went up in November 2024. The script itself has not changed since November 2024. It suits SKADIS owners who want holders sized to their own things rather than the fixed sizes sold in store.
