What is Top Secret Spinning Top?

Top Secret is a free customizable MakerWorld model by Prime Tower Designs that turns your own text into a spinning top with a hidden message. Its body is full of tiny pinhole tunnels that look like scattered dots at rest; spin it under a bright light and 16 animation frames blend into your text inside a moving dotted border. Printed parts are enough, with a small LED and magnet key as optional extras.

The Customize button opens the designer's Pinhole Message Generator. You type up to three lines of text, set letter spacing, line spacing and the number of border dots, check a 2D preview and then switch the output to pinhole tunnels. You download that as an STL, open the separate Customizable cipher print profile in your slicer and add the STL as a centered negative part. The designer shows this step in a video and says it works in Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer and PrusaSlicer. The cipher profile is set up for several colors, but one filament works too.

If you would rather skip the form, about a dozen ready-made profiles carry messages such as SPIN TO WIN and MERRY X-MAS. With over 10,000 likes and 24,000 customizations it is widely used, but clear text depends on dark, dry filament, 0.1 mm layers and a dim room. It suits makers after a hidden-message gift or a desk toy with a trick.
