What is Cake Topper Generator (CCC)?

Cake Topper Generator is a free MakerWorld customizer by CCC that builds a text cake topper from one to three lines of words. It runs in MakerWorld's Parametric Model Maker: you pick a font from the list, type your lines and give each one its own size, and the generator stacks them and joins the letters with an outline. Leave a line empty and it is skipped. You can have one post, two posts, or no post at all for a flat plaque that lies on the cake.

What sets it apart is that every line gets its own layer count. Give the lines different heights and you can add pauses in Bambu Studio to swap filament, so a printer without an AMS can still print up to four colors: one per text line plus one for the outline and posts. With an AMS you assign colors to the parts instead. Boldness, letter and line spacing, outline thickness and an optional frame for loose letters help keep it in one piece.

Getting every letter to touch usually takes a few rounds of tweaking, and the designer includes a step-by-step tuning guide. It has been customized more than 76,000 times and suits anyone making toppers for birthdays, weddings or parties.

How to use Cake Topper Generator

1. Open the model on MakerWorld and click Customize
2. Pick a font, type one to three lines and set a size for each
3. Adjust boldness, spacing, outline and offsets until all letters connect
4. Set post spacing, width and length (spacing 0 for one post, length 0 for a plaque)
5. Generate, download and add filament-change pauses in Bambu Studio if you want colors without an AMS
