What is gh-skyline.dev?

gh-skyline.dev turns your GitHub contribution history into a 3D skyline, with one tower per day whose height follows how much you committed. It was built as a replacement after GitHub's own skyline.github.com went offline, and it runs in the browser.

The editor lets you change the username text, the font, the tower size and the base shape, and it can combine several years into one model. Changes show in real time. It exports a 3MF with colors kept for printers with more than one filament, and you can share a link to your model with its settings. You sign in with GitHub, including GitHub Enterprise Cloud accounts.

It suits developers who want a desk trophy or a gift for a colleague. GitHub's official gh-skyline command-line extension makes a similar STL from the terminal if you prefer that.
