About this generator

Base for Mini or Trophies is a free MakerWorld generator by Bulbo that builds a two-tier display base for trophies, medals and figures from a short list of settings. It runs in MakerWorld's Parametric Model Maker, so you work with sliders, menus and text boxes instead of CAD, and it has been customized close to 40,000 times since February 2025.

You start with the footprint: a polygon such as a hexagon, square or triangle, a circle, or a rectangle with unequal sides. Then you set the total height, how that height is shared between the wide lower tier and the narrower upper tier, and the width and length. Chamfers on each tier can be switched off or tuned in size and angle. An optional name plate sits on the front of either tier and carries one or two lines of text, for example a title and a name, with its own size, thickness, border and text depth.

The designer points you to an STL export. If you add a plate, split the model into objects in Bambu Studio and turn the plate the right way, then print it in a contrasting color and glue it on. It suits anyone making an award for a club or a family tournament, and painters who want a tidy stand for a figure or statue.

Base for Mini or Trophies - Customizable pros

  • Polygon (hexagon, square, triangle and more), round and rectangular footprints, each with two tiers and adjustable chamfers
  • Optional name plate with one or two lines of text on the upper or lower tier
  • Well used and well rated: close to 40,000 customizations and about 4.9 stars from 44 print profile ratings

Base for Mini or Trophies - Customizable cons

  • The name plate comes in the same file as the base, so you split it off and lay it flat in the slicer yourself, which several commenters struggled with
  • Text stops at two lines, and one user reported that Japanese characters were not supported
  • Plain geometric bases with no texture, rounded corners, pegs or holes to locate a figure or the plate
