Cable Grommet Wall Pass-Through Cover is a free MakerWorld customizer by HOME UPGRADES (@MALCOLM_3DBOSS) that makes a round cover for the spot where cables pass through a wall. A flat plate hides the rough edge of the hole, a tube behind it slides into the opening, and the cables run through a smaller hole in the middle. It runs in MakerWorld's parametric customizer from a Fusion file, and people have generated their own version more than 5,400 times since it went up in May 2026.

There are five numbers to set: the diameter and thickness of the visible plate, the diameter and depth of the tube that goes into the wall, and the size of the cable hole. The defaults are a 50 mm plate, 2 mm thick, on a 25 mm tube that is 30 mm long, with a 10 mm cable hole. If your cable already has a large plug on the end, the designer suggests cutting the part in half in your slicer, printing both halves and gluing them back together around the cable, since there is no ready-made split file.

It is free with a MakerWorld login, and the default print takes about 24 minutes and 10 g of PLA. It suits anyone who wants a neat finish around a cable hole without opening CAD.

How to use Cable Grommet Wall Pass-Through Cover

1. Measure the width and depth of the hole in your wall and the thickness of your cable bundle
2. Open the model on MakerWorld and click Customize
3. Enter the plate size and thickness, the tube diameter and depth, and the cable hole size
4. Generate and download the 3MF, then open it in Bambu Studio or your own slicer
5. For a cable with its plug already on, cut the part in half in the slicer, print, and glue it around the cable
