About this generator

Customizable Letter Beads is a free MakerWorld customizer by OGG3D that turns a typed word into chunky alphabet beads for a paracord bracelet, a necklace or a backpack keyring. You pick a font and set the bead size, thickness and hole diameter in the browser. Each letter comes out as its own bead with the letter raised on the front and a hole through the body, and the hole can run across or up and down.

The beads lie flat on the bed without supports. The second color comes from one filament change at the height where the letters start, so a printer without an AMS can do it. The designer's own profile for the name HELENA gives six beads in about 37 minutes from 10 g of PLA. The letter sits on one side only, and the designer has said the cover picture was made with AI, so real prints look plainer unless you pick a rounded font such as Fredoka Bold. Some makers also had to repaint the hole color by height in the slicer.

It has been customized more than 42,000 times. It is free for personal use with a MakerWorld login, but the license does not allow selling prints without permission. It suits name bracelets, school bag tags and small gifts for kids.
