About Lightbox Maker (MakerLab)
Lightbox Maker is a MakerLab tool from Bambu Lab for designing backlit light boxes. You combine your own images with text and other elements, and the tool turns them into a layered panel that glows when an LED light source sits behind it. Everything happens in the browser after signing in to MakerWorld.
The results are made for multi-colour printing. Creators on MakerWorld publish light boxes made with it using four-colour and eight-colour print profiles, where filament order and layer thickness decide how the light comes through. That makes it closer to a light-up poster than a classic white lithophane.
It suits Bambu Lab owners with an AMS who want fan art, name signs or logo lights for a gaming room, shop counter or child's bedroom. You still need to source the LED lighting, and a single-colour printer will not get the full effect. A free MakerWorld account is required.
