About this generator
Universal Smartphone Case Generator is a free MakerWorld customizer by Manufact3D_Hamburg that builds a fitted case for almost any phone from measurements you type in, which helps when no shop sells a case for your model. It runs an OpenSCAD script in MakerWorld's Parametric Model Maker, so you fill in a form in the browser instead of opening a CAD program.
You enter the phone's length, width and thickness in millimeters, then place the openings: the USB-C or Lightning port, speaker, microphone and headphone jack, zones for the power and volume buttons, and cutouts for cameras or sensors. Wall thickness is adjustable so the buttons stay easy to press, and a 2 mm rim stands above the screen to protect it in a face-down drop. The case is meant for TPU 95A or softer, so it flexes to snap on. For a rigid case, the same creator has a separate version 2 for PETG, PLA, ABS and ASA.
It has been customized more than 43,000 times. The catch is the measuring: you take every dimension and cutout position yourself, and several commenters asked for help with a specific phone or said the settings were hard to follow. It suits makers with calipers and a phone that is hard to buy accessories for.
