TitanCraft

Build and pose custom hero, monster and mech miniatures, then export them as STL

TitanCraft is a freemium browser tool for custom D&D heroes, NPCs and monsters for home printing. Free to design, and a character made only of free parts downloads for $0 with a free account. Paid parts unlock one by one (the Aboleth's parts cost $0.75 to $1.25 each) or in asset packs from $7 to $60, with bundles up to $455; a $10 one-time download covers a complex kitbashed character without unlocking its parts. Resin prints start at $15, and a merchant license for selling prints starts at $99 for 90 days. Exports STL. Last checked .

What is TitanCraft?

TitanCraft is a browser character creator for tabletop miniatures: you build a hero, monster or mech from ready-made parts, pose it and download it as an STL. It began in 2016 as a HeroForge alternative for people who print at home. You start from a base such as a human, elf, dwarf, dragon, owlbear or mech and swap clothing, headgear, weapons and body parts. Sliders set the scale (30 to 34 mm) and proportions such as head and ear size, pose presets give a quick stance, and Advanced Pose lets you move, rotate and scale single bones. You can add companions and mounts, put several characters in one scene and kitbash parts from different models.

Designing costs nothing, and a character made only of free parts downloads for $0 once you have a free account. Paid parts unlock one by one or in asset packs, and every part you unlock can be reused in as many exports as you like, with no subscription. A complex kitbash can instead be bought as a single $10 download, and the team also prints and ships resin minis for people without a printer.

It suits D&D players and game masters who print their own party, NPCs and monsters and want more control than a stock model gives. Posing and kitbashing take some practice.

How to use TitanCraft

  1. Open the Character Creator, press + and pick a hero, creature, Draw Steel or mech base
  2. Swap clothing, items and body parts, and set scale and proportions in Sizing
  3. Pick a pose preset or fine-tune single bones in Advanced Pose
  4. Click Add to Cart, choose Digital Files, then sign in and check out ($0 if every part is free)
  5. Download the STL, merge it in 3D Builder if your slicer flags cavities, then add supports and print

TitanCraft pros

  • Kitbash parts from heroes, monsters and mechs, and pose single bones with move, rotate and scale controls
  • Parts you unlock stay in your account for unlimited STL exports, with no subscription
  • Characters made only of free parts download for $0, and a resin print service covers people without a printer

TitanCraft cons

  • Paid parts and packs ($7 to $60 each) add up fast; the all-inclusive bundle is $455
  • Exports are multi-shell meshes, and the FAQ suggests merging them in 3D Builder because Chitubox can flag false cavities
  • A free account is needed to download, STL files may not be shared or sold, and selling prints needs a paid merchant license
