What is Under Desk Cable Clip?
Under Desk Cable Clip is a free MakerWorld customizer by plugowski that makes a small hinged clip for holding a bundle of cables under a desk or shelf. The clip prints in one piece with the hinge already in place, so there is nothing to assemble.
The Customize button on the model page opens MakerWorld's parametric editor, which works from the designer's Fusion file. You set the clip length (40 to 80 mm), height (25 to 50 mm) and width (10 to 50 mm), a tab length, and from 0 to 5 screw holes. With no holes you can stick the clip down with double-sided tape instead. The default tolerance is 0.2 mm, and the designer suggests raising it a little if your printer fuses the hinge. The posted profiles are single-color PLA; one clip takes about 5 g and a full plate of 12 clips about 54 g.
The Customize button shows close to 7,500 uses, and the page lists about 3,400 likes and more than 14,000 logged prints. It suits anyone tidying cables under a desk who wants clips that fit their own cable runs rather than one fixed size.
