Customizable Parametric Pencil Slide-On Name is a free MakerWorld customizer that turns a name into a row of standing 3D letters with a hole through them, so the whole name slides onto a pencil or pen. Click Customize on the model page and fill in the name, font, letter size and letter height. A style setting picks between plain letters, a zig-zag where the letters alternate between two heights, and alternating colors, where each letter swaps between two colors for printing with an AMS. You can also set the hole diameter to match your pencil, extend the hole past the ends, move it up or down, and correct the letter spacing by hand if the automatic spacing looks off. It runs as an OpenSCAD script in MakerWorld's Parametric Model Maker, and colors only carry over in the 3MF, not in an STL.

The designer's sample profiles use 2 to 7 g of PLA and take about 14 to 40 minutes on Bambu Lab printers, and the print tips call for supports. It suits parents labeling school supplies and anyone making party favors or small classroom gifts.
