About Sloyd
Sloyd combines two ways of making a model. You can use AI text-to-3D or image-to-3D like other generators, or you can start from a library of hand-made parametric templates and shape them with sliders for size, wall thickness and detail. The template route gives more predictable, cleaner geometry than pure AI output.
When you switch on the 3D printing preset, Sloyd aims to produce watertight, manifold meshes and exports STL or OBJ for Cura, PrusaSlicer and other slicers. It also offers GLB and FBX for game engines, plus plugins for Blender, Unity and Roblox if you work across hobbies.
The free Guest tier allows one AI generation a day and unlimited template customization in the browser. Sloyd Plus costs $15 a month ($12.50 billed yearly) and removes the generation cap, and paid plans include a commercial license. It suits makers who want props, stylised objects and simple decor, where tidy geometry matters more than photo realism.
