About Neural4D
Neural4D (N4D) is an AI 3D generator whose marketing focuses on printable output. Its Direct3D-S2 engine is designed to produce closed, single-shell meshes without non-manifold edges, which are the usual reason AI models fail in a slicer. You can start from a text prompt or an image and download an STL for Cura, PrusaSlicer or another slicer.
Besides STL it exports OBJ, GLB, FBX, USDZ and a Blender file, so the same model can go into other 3D apps. The company is also building an agent system for wider design tasks, but the text-to-STL and image-to-3D tools are the parts that matter for printing.
There is a free plan with welcome credits. Models made on the free plan enter the public domain, while paid subscribers own and can sell what they create. Neural4D suits makers who have been burned by broken AI meshes and want files that slice the first time.
