About MakerLab Make My Statue
Make My Statue is one of MakerLab's longest-running AI tools. You upload a portrait photo and it generates a bust, head and shoulders, that you print in a single color like a classical sculpture. Early versions drew jokes about uncanny results, and the tool has since had a version 2.0 update.
The workflow is simple: upload, wait in the queue, preview and export to Bambu Studio. The statue look means you do not need color, so it prints well in plain white, grey, marble-effect or silk filament and looks like a small sculpture on a shelf.
Like other MakerLab AI tools it uses MakerLab credits, which you can get by converting MakerWorld points. It is best for gag gifts, family keepsakes and desk busts. Expect a stylised likeness rather than a perfect scan, and use a well lit, front-facing photo for the best result.
