About MakerLab Image to 3D Model
Image to 3D Model is the AI generator inside MakerWorld's MakerLab, run by Bambu Lab. You upload a single image, choose one of several engines, and get a 3D model back in a few minutes. The menu now offers Meshy 6, Tripo, Rodin, Hunyuan3D and Hi3D at different quality levels, so you can trade speed and credit cost against detail.
The big advantage is the tight link with Bambu Studio. Exports come as STL, 3MF or GLB, and Meshy's multi-color option maps textures to filament zones for AMS printing. Everything lives in your MakerWorld account, and you can publish the result as a model if you like.
Generations use MakerLab credits, which you get by converting MakerWorld points or by buying credit packs; costs range from about 24 credits for a quick engine to 80 for Rodin's top setting. It is the natural first stop for Bambu Lab owners who already collect MakerWorld points and want AI figurines without another subscription.
